Marlbrook's Outreach
Extending beyond the traditional boundaries of church, our mission is to touch lives in diverse and meaningful ways.
As a family of faith, we believe in the transformative power of reaching out to others and invite you to explore our initiatives below and their incredible stories.

Since 2020 a team of five retired gentlemen from various churches have been quietly making a big impact in our community. Every Tuesday morning, they roll up their sleeves and tackle overgrown gardens across the local parish, turning spaces of stress into havens of peace.
The team have primarily supported the elderly, disabled and single individuals whose gardens have become unmanageable over the years. Whether it's clearing overgrowth, building fences, or preparing vegetable beds for local schools connected with St. Michael's, their work is a practical demonstration of God’s love. One particularly memorable project involved two weeks to restore access to a garden, giving the homeowner a new lease on outdoor life. Another saw a garden unused for 16 years brought back to life becoming a space for joy once more.
For those in need, the Hackers' work restores more than just gardens - it restores dignity and ownership of their homes. The gratitude expressed by those they help, whether in kind words or monetary donations (used to buy tools), is a testament to the team's impact.
But the blessing flows both ways. For the Hackers themselves, this ministry has been an opportunity to grow in confidence, enjoy camaraderie, and find purpose in serving their community. It’s a beautiful reminder that through acts of service, God works in and through us all.

On various days throughout the week, our Home Groups gather in warm and welcoming homes. We spend time reading the Bible, helping each other understand its meaning, and discovering how it applies to our daily lives.
A key part of our time together is sharing our hearts - our joys, concerns, and hopes for the week ahead. Through prayer, we’ve witnessed amazing answers to life’s challenges, from job situations to health concerns, church family issues, and more. In these moments, God brings His peace, strength, and confidence to share our faith with others, equipping us to face even the trickiest situations.
Whether you’re looking for spiritual growth, a listening ear, or a supportive community, we’d love to welcome you.
